What are the main differences between a fixed and a detachable tow bar?
A fixed, bolt-on tow bar is permanently attached to the car and suits those who use a trailer very often. A detachable or lockable tow bar lets you remove the ball section in a couple of simple movements when you do not need it. This keeps the car's appearance clean, does not obscure the number plate and does not interfere with the rear parking sensors when no trailer is attached.
